THE CROW FLIES
Special Guest CARA LUFT
As The Crow Flies’ music is fresh, confident
and clear. Their music runs through fields of
acoustic folk and mild grass, to traditional
and original tunes, all arranged in a distinctly
warm and lavish tone. They are joined by Juno
Award winner Carla Luft, an exceptionally talented
guitarist who infuses her songs with a life
and rhythm unparalleled by most of today’s
singer-songwriters. CBC Radio’s North
by Northwest host Sheryl Mackay will be your
emcee for the evening. Ricky’s All Day
Grill, The NOW, CBC Radio One and TAG Scholarship

CELIA
‘Celia’, a poignant drama about
simplicity and truth, is brought to you by Crossroads
Hospice Society and Community Ventures Society.
It is a story about Celia who is one of eight
people residing in a Group Home for people who
are both developmentally and physically challenged.
The story revolves around Celia who is diagnosed
with Leukemia and how she prepares herself,
her family and friends. ‘Celia’
includes scenes from a ‘Grief Support
Group’ attended by Celia’s parents,
one of the many support opportunities offered
by the
hospice societies.
October 6th & 8th @7:00pm and October 7th

THE
BAND OF THE 15TH FIELD REGIMENT,
ROYAL CANADIAN ARTILLERY
The origins of this prestigious band can be
traced back to 1871 and musicians associated
with “A” Battery, Canadian Garrison
Artillery. This was the first regular army artillery
unit in Canada, formed to prepare for the departure
of the standing British garrison. The band performs
more than 150 engagements per year. In the recent
past, tours have taken the band throughout the
Province of British Columbia, across Canada,
into the Western United States,
across the Pacific to Hawaii and Hong Kong,
east to Texas, Louisiana, Pennsylvania and Western
Europe.

James Productions (JP) presents Christmas Pops,
a two hour variety show featuring your favourite
seasonal music. JP features 15 singers and a
30 piece orchestra! Many of our

are stars in the greater Vancouver theatre community
and our orchestra members play in the pits of
regional theatre houses and in various bands in
the Lower Mainland. This is an energetic, professional
