INFORMATION
The Terry Fox Theatre is available for
rental to professional, corporate and community presenters
on an hourly basis for single events or longer running
productions.
The facility is in active use year round
and available for rental every day. Rentals are accepted
on a first come basis. Rental inquiries should be made
to the Theatre Manager.

*In
the event that a deposit is not received within 10 days
of issuing the contract the booking may be cancelled without
further notice and the Facility or equipment made available
to other renters.
The
Rental Fee includes the following staff and services:
- One
House Technician
- Theatre,
Orchestra Pit, Lobby, Green Room, Dressing Rooms, Ticket
Booth & Cloak Room
- Basic
Lighting and Sound

A facility tour can be arranged by contacting the Theatre
Manager.
Bookings are confirmed when the signed
rental contract and deposit are received. Technical requirements
are discussed in advance at a pre-event meeting with the
Theatre Manager. If your event involves complex lighting,
sound or staging, the Theatre Manager may require you
to attend a one-hour pre-event meeting with the house
technician at an additional fee of $30.
Theatre rentals include:
• One house technician (tech time includes in, out
and restore time)
• Theatre, orchestra pit, lobby, green room, dressing
rooms, ticket booth & cloak room
• Basic lighting and Sound
• Live TV monitors in green room and cloak room

Other Charges :
Insurance:
Insurance Groups or individuals renting the facility must
provide proof of insurance. The cost of insurance is in
addition to the rental fee. Specific insurance requirements
are detailed in the rental contract
Tickets:
The Terry Fox Theatre requires that all events are ticketed
by the theatre at a cost of $.12 per ticket plus GST.
Tickets may not be provided or supplied from any other
source. Additional ticket set-up fees may apply
Seat Levy:
$1.00 plus GST per person (applies whenever admission
is charged for entrance to the facility. This fee applies
to all patrons in attendance and includes those with complimentary
or free admission. When donations for entrance are accepted
to the seat levy is calculated on the basis of 10% of
donations collected)
Promotional and Lobby sales :
15% of gross sales
Extra technical support :

Concert
piano:
Yamaha C7 Grand Piano $50 per day plus tuning

Front
of House:
House Manager ($20 per hour, minimum 4 hour call)
ushers, box office ($10 per hour)
Concession:
Renters may request to set up and operate a concession
in the theatre lobby. Some restrictions apply. Prior
authorization to operate a bar with alcoholic beverages
must be obtained and proper liquor licensing and ‘serve-it-right’
requirements must be met. A ‘Serve-it-Right’
qualified bar service can be provided by the ‘Blues

Box Office:
The Terry Fox Theatre is not equipped with box
office services. For ticket purchases to any events, please

LCD
projector:
$50 per day plus GST
Promotion
and publicity:
Free
event listing on the Terry Fox Theatre website with a
link to your website if you choose. Free event listing
in The Front Row events calendar distributed electronically
to theatre patron subscribers
